New B&M Manchester Arndale opening date confirmed and how to get free £10 to spend

High Street bargain retailer B&M has revealed the opening date for its brand new Manchester store. It will be opening in the Arndale Centre and will create 50 jobs.

The discount retailer has taken over the former Wilko store, which provides a combined space over two floors of 21,357 sq ft. The site has undergone a complete refurbishment ahead of opening its doors tomorrow (24 July).

B&M has set ambitious targets for store openings over the next few years, including boosting its number of current stores from over 700 to around 950. Among the planned openings, three are relocations, meaning the retailer is shifting from one site to another, and one is an expansion of an existing site.

The arrival of B&M follows a surge of leasing activity at Manchester Arndale over the last few months, including retail lettings to Space NK, Dune, Moss, The North Face, and Sunglass Hut. With Black Sheep Coffee, Krispy Kreme, and Lazy Sundae.

To mark the opening, B&M is inviting the public to come down for the grand opening, which is happening at 9am on Wednesday morning. The first 50 customers on opening day will receive a £10 voucher to spend in store.

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries including a range of food, drink, and pet food. There will also be a selection of health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, and gifts.
