Netflix’s spooky crime drama filmed in Bolton starring Stephen Graham to be released this week

Just in time for Halloween, Netflix is set to release its next big spooky crime drama later this week - and filming for the series took place in Bolton.

Scenes for Bodies, which is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Si Spencer, were filmed in the Greater Manchester borough last year at locations including Le Mans Crescent in the town centre.

The show, which stars Stephen Graham and Wolf Hall star Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, is set across four different eras of London as the same murder is investigated across the years 1890, 1940, 2014 and 2050. Created by Paul Tomalin, the ‘part sci-fi, part murder mystery, part period drama, and part police procedural’ will be released onto Netflix on Thursday (October 19).
