Netflix drop trailer for David Beckham documentary charting Manchester United great's career

Netflix have dropped an exciting trailer showcasing their upcoming documentary charting David Beckham and his astonishing career at Manchester United and beyond.

The four-part biopic will be available to view on the American video streaming service from Monday, October 4 as per a social media post uploaded by the company's UK and Ireland branch. And there was more than enough to get the anticipation flowing in the accompanying two-minute clip.

This is BECKHAM will tell the unseen, unheard and unfiltered story of one of the most recognisable and scrutinised athletes of all time. That means the series will go deeper still than what the ex-England captain achieved during the golden years with United on the pitch.

A man who needs no introduction, Beckham progressed through the famed academy system at Old Trafford and went on to make 394 appearances for his beloved United in all competitions. He won six Premier League titles for the club, as well as two FA Cup medals and the Champions League in 1999.

Beckham was a poster boy and top midfielder for the unparalleled Class of 92 and later played for Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan and PSG before hanging up his boots. He currently spends most of his time Stateside and remains the co-owner of MLS franchise Inter Miami that now boast Lionel Messi in their ranks.
