'Nervous' - Wolves fans respond to transfer news after deadline day deal done

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to the latest transfer news after Bruno Jordao joined Swiss outfit Grasshoppers on loan for the rest of the season.

The Portuguese had been training with Bruno Lage's first team and building up his fitness, though has featured only once this campaign.

Wolves ' strategic player marketing manager Matt Jackson said on the move : "The plan for Bruno is to get regular game time having overcome a pretty nasty injury last year.

“During the last few months, he’s had a lot of top-quality training with the first-team group and a couple of games for the under-23s to help him build his fitness back up, but now he’s ready to go and experience a consistent run of games at senior level.

"He’ll be joining a team and an environment that we know well, we trust and have a great relationship with. We look at the benefit Connor Ronan had over at Grasshoppers last season and the improvement his loan over there made to his profile, and I hope the same can happen for Bruno."

Many Old Gold faithful replied to Wolves' tweet after the club confirmed the 23-year-old's departure and wished him luck.

One fan questioned: "Do you mean good luck Bruno Lage for the rest of the season as we’ve got 3 central midfielders?"

Another added: "Bruno: we need more players. The board: let's get rid of players and bring no one in."

Here is the rest of the reaction...

"Good move for him tbf."

"Pathetic."

"Brave."

"Mendes carrousel."

"Use his full name in the tweet! Nearly sent me into meltdown..."

"Good luck for the rest of the season, Bruno!' is exactly what they've said to the gaffa n'all..."

"I thought Bruno had walked..."

"Grasshopper AY WE."

"Who needs midfielders anyway..."

"Other teams are
