Neil Lennon reveals growing Rangers transfer confidence as Lundstram spills beans on Ibrox exit secret agent

Albion Rrahmani has been praised for shutting out the Rangers noise...by former Celtic boss Neil Lennon in Bucharest.

Lennon is gearing up for his first season in charge at Rapid and has reported Ibrox target Rrahmani as one of his key players at their pre-season camp. The striker scored an impressive 19 goals in 30 appearances last season and has been tracker by Gers, Sparta Prague and Bologna. But he's kept his eyes firmly on the prize in the meantime and his club are in no rush to sell him as they jet off to Slovenia for their pre-season preparations.

The Romanian side beat Maribor 4-0 on Thursday and kick off their league season against UTA Arad this coming weekend. Ex-Celtic boss Lennon has so far been delighted at his star hitman's attitude as he said: "I am so pleased with Albion. I remain hopeful he will stay with Rapid for another season. Everyone is watching him, the press are talking about him, but his attitude was great."

Elsewhere former Rangers star John Lundstram revealed he has current Ibrox defender Rıdvan Yılmaz to thank for his transfer to Trabzonspor. And the midfielder insists he has already fitted into his new life in Turkey.

Lundstram answered questions during Trabzonspor's pre-season training camp in Hungary as he prepares to make his debut, alongside fellow former Rangers player Borna Barisic in what is likely to be a Europa League second qualifying round tie at the end of this month.
And the 30-year-old had no doubts he's made the right decision to quit Ibrox and move to Turkish football.
