Joshua Zirkzee reveals Manchester United transfer plan after secret Jamal Musiala talks

Joshua Zirkzee says he's 'already tried' to get Jamal Musiala to sign for Manchester United this summer. Zirkzee and Musiala - who were Bayern Munich teammates previously - created a storm on various social media platforms when they were spotted together on holiday in Los Angeles.

New signing Zirkzee, 23, spent five seasons at the Allianz Arena between 2017 and 2022, when he joined Bologna - and that spell in Italy provided the platform for his dream move to Old Trafford. He was signed by Ineos to provide cover and competition for Rasmus Hojlund in attacking quarters.

Speculation on Musiala's immediate future has been tentative, but Manchester City are said to admire the 21-year-old, who only has 24 months to run on his contract at the Allianz Arena. His record for Bayern reads 43 goals and 31 assists from 163 matches in all competitions and Musiala also has 34 caps for Germany to his name.
