Neighbourhood Weekender announces first wave of artists - and other shows on sale for Manchester
There’s no denying that Manchester and the north west is a hotspot of activity, especially when it comes to the music scene, with renowned artists from all over the world wanting to perform in the region.
That momentum is only set to continue with fresh announcements from Wet Leg and Bloc Party & Interpol, alongside upcoming shows from JLS and Bastille later this month.
On top of that, huge names like Richard Ashcroft, Kaiser Chiefs, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Blossoms are among those already lined up to appear at the much-loved Neighbourhood Weekender festival next summer.

May 23 and 24, 2026
Richard Ashcroft and Blossoms are set to headline Neighbourhood Weekender 2026 which returns to Warrington’s Victoria Park next May bank holiday weekend. They will be joined by major acts such as Kaiser Chiefs, The K’s, DMAS, Jamie Webster, Example, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Shed Seven, Cast and many more.
Returning to the main stage for the second time is two-time Ivor Novello Award winner Richard Ashcroft. After embarking upon the biggest stadium tour of the year as special guest to Oasis, he went on to sell out Manchester’s Co-op Live and announce seven more UK arena dates for 2026. Last month, Ashcroft also released his highly anticipated new album ‘Lovin’ You’, his seventh solo set.
Fellow headliner, Blossoms, from Stockport, will make their huge return to Neighbourhood Weekender on the main stage on Sunday. The group recently played their biggest headline gig to date - a sold-out show to 30,000 people at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park - and completed a live five-night Manchester residency.
