Ne-Yo announces extra Manchester date due to 'phenomenal demand'

Fans of Ne-Yo who missed out on tickets for the R&B star’s Manchester show have been given a reprieve.

That’s because Ne-Yo is playing another date at the AO Arena next March ‘due to phenomenal demand’. His UK dates on the Champagne and Roses tour with music veteran and R&B heavyweight Mario as special guest. had sold-out.

The six shows in Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Newcastle, London, and Birmingham next year sold out within minutes, according to fans. Now, he will head back to four cities later in the same month.

Those cities are Birmingham, London, Glasgow, and Manchester. The mancunian date is March 19, and will be the final stop in Britain.

“Due to phenomenal demand, NE-YO will be making ANOTHER stop at the AO Arena, joining us on Tuesday March 19,” the AO Arena announced earlier today (November 24).”

Fans have a week to prepare to get tickets — with sales starting at 9:30am next Friday, December 1.

The artist is best known for for his hit singles in the late noughties and early 2010s, namely ‘Miss Independent’, ‘So Sick’, and ‘Because Of You’. He has been a notable collaborator with Pitbull, with their track ‘Time Of Our Lives’ receiving more than 1.1 billion Spotify streams.
