Nathaniel Mendez-Laing has already outlined Sheffield Wednesday stance amid contract situation

Will Nathaniel Mendez-Laing still be a Sheffield Wednesday player come the start of pre-season? The talented winger is among four players to have been offered fresh terms to remain at Hillsborough.

When he was quizzed on his long-term future back in January, Mendez-Laing said: "It’s a great club, massive, changing room, manager, coaches.

"I am happy here and settled. My family seem to like it here."

The 30-year-old directly contributed to four goals from his 19 outings. He would have played more matches had he not sustained a hamstring
