Nathaniel Chalobah starts: How we expect Fulham to line up against West Brom on Tuesday night

Fulham travel to West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday evening in looking to bounce back to winning ways after their 1-1 draw at Barnsley on Saturday.

The season has panned out very differently for the Cottagers and the Baggies after both were relegated from the Premier League with a whimper last season.

Steve Bruce has managed one win, two draws and four losses since replacing Valerien Ismael in the dugout and it still looks up in the air whether he will lead the club into the 2022/23 campaign.

The Baggies produced a late comeback to rescue a point against Huddersfield Town last time out, with goals from Karlan Grant and Andy Carroll cancelling out a two goal deficit in the closing exchanges.

There were plenty of positives to take for the league leaders in their draw at Oakwell, but they now need to win every game between now and the end of the season if they are to break Reading’s Championship points record of 106.

Jean-Michael Seri was replaced by Tom Cairney at half time at Oakwell and who to play next to Harrison Reed in the double pivot could be Marco Silva’s main selection dilemma.

With Alex Mowatt and Taylor Gardner-Hickman’s energy in the middle of the park, Silva may want to select someone who is a little more mobile and effective out of possession.

Nathaniel Chalobah fits that bill and demonstrates the embarrassment of riches for the level within this Fulham squad.

A draw would be seen as a good result for the hosts as the league leaders look to press on towards the title.
