Martin Odegaard’s highlights vs Leicester show he’s one of the PL's best players right now

Martin Odegaard is rather good, isn’t he?

The Arsenal midfielder ran the show against Leicester City at the weekend as the Gunners returned to the top four in the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta‘s side beat Brendan Rodgers‘ men 2-0 on Sunday at the Emirates to reclaim fourth place.

Thomas Partey put Arsenal one-nil up by the 11th minute with a towering header before Alexandre Lacazette doubled their lead in the second half after Leicester defender Caglar Soyuncu was penalised for handball following a lengthy review by VAR.

But it seems Odegaard’s showing certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed after a stunning highlight reel of the Norway international emerged on social media.

In the clip, he can be seen spraying passes left, right and centre in the middle of the park.

Unsurprisingly, Odegaard received lots of praise for his performance post-match, none more so than Arteta, who claimed ‘he’s come a long way since his arrival’.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “He was terrific again today, in every aspect of the game; what he had to do in defending, when we were high and deep; in build-up phases; in the final third, the way he understood and managed the game when he was needed.

“He’s come a long way since his arrival, he is showing great maturity and responsibility
