A large number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been venting their fury on Twitter as Spurs close in on the potential signing of Ollie Tanner. 

According to The Athletic, the Lilywhites have had a bid for the 19-year-old accepted by the Isthmian League Premier Division side, Lewes.

It is believed the bid is in the region of £100k and the deal is now waiting to be approved by the player, with the proposed deal understood to include a sell-on fee.

Having seemingly missed out on the potential signings of both Adama Traore and Luis Diaz, these Spurs fans flooded to Twitter as the news broke.

“We are finished”

Despite Spurs not opening their account in the January window, it is apparent the signing of a £100k non-league player has hardly left these fans excited.

The clock is ticking on Fabio Paratici ahead of Monday’s deadline, but is the four-goal forward a target Spurs should even be considering with Antonio Conte wanting improvements to his first-team squad?
