'Move' - Manchester United send clear message as Liverpool 'join race' for target

Manchester United fans have aired their concern after Liverpool were linked with a move for target Sofyan Amrabat.

MEN Sport reported that United are open to a second midfield signing, depending on outgoings. Fulham want to sign Fred whilst the future of Soctt McTominay is unclear.

Erik ten Hag is monitoring Amrabat and Southampton's Romeo Lavia as potential options should United sell both of their players. Mason Mount has already signed to bolster that area of the pitch, with Andre Onana and a striker the next priorities.

According to The Athletic, Liverpool are considering a move for Amrabat after a dramatic twist in their midfield rebuild. They have bought Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister already having released James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

However, interest from Saudi Arabia in captain Jordan Henderson and Fabinho has forced them back into action. The latter is likely to move whilst Henderson has agreed personal terms but the two clubs must agree a fee.

United fans are concerned that Klopp will therefore swoop for Amrabat and they will miss out on another transfer target. Liverpool signed Cody Gakpo from PSV in January after United had monitored him the previous summer.

With that in mind, here is a selection of their responses on social media.
