Morrisons unveils its Christmas 2023 range

We might be getting a late summer with plenty of sunshine - but don't forget that Christmas is only around 14 weeks away.

Supermarkets are already preparing for the big day by stocking their shelves high with festive goodies. Many know shoppers are keen to start stocking up early to spread the cost of such an expensive time of year.

Morrisons have now revealed their Christmas offerings, including everything from sharing starters and stunning centrepieces, to party food and delicious desserts. A number of new dishes are also being served up as part of the range.

Seafood lovers can celebrate with the Best King Scallops with a Champagne Sauce starter, coming in at £5.50. It will hit shelves from December 20. Other starters include the Best Christmas Boozy Brandy Stuffing Parcels. The parcels, seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg and wrapped in dry cured bacon, serve six people for £4.

Meanwhile a Salmon Wellington will also be on offer - a twist on the classic Beef Wellington, featuring succulent Scottish salmon fillets with a rich stuffing of cheddar cheese and chives, encased in an all-butter flaky puff pastry. It's priced at £17 and is only available via Morrison's Food To Order collection service.

Also new for this year is the Best British Lambchetta - a centrepiece which would make a delicious addition to any dinner table. New sweet treats include the Best Chocolate Orange Pudding with Honeycomb for £8, available from December 15.
