Get £13 tickets for Jack and the Beanstalk at Manchester Opera House this Christmas

It's the biggest panto of the festive season in Manchester and families can get tickets for the Opera House for £13.

This year's show is the popular Jack and the Beanstalk and will see the return of comedy duo Jason Manford and Ben Nickless, who were hailed a 'big hit' at last year's Christmas production.

The annual family production will start a week earlier this year, from Saturday, December 2, running right across the festive season to New Year's Eve.

Stockport-based TV star Jason made his panto debut last year as baddie Hook in The Adventures of Peter Pan, but this year will take on the role of the hero of the piece, Jack.

Tickets are on sale now for the new show, with prices starting from £13. These are at the back of the theatre, some with a steep viewing angle. The next price is £28, rising to £75.50 for the 'package seat' - an Ambassador Gold Lounge Experience with two drinks, nibbles and ice cream.

Jason said: "I know I joked about Peter Pan being my ‘farewell debut’ in Panto, but in truth I had such a wonderful time last Christmas that I was itching to do it again. So, to be invited back to the Opera House in Manchester with such a fun and collaborative company and alongside my new best mate, the hilarious Ben Nickless, well, how could I say no?

"This Christmas I’ll be putting down the hook and stepping into the title role in Jack and the Beanstalk, and I’m very much
