Moment 'large-scale' fight breaks out in Oldham before boy, 16, left seriously injured

Footage has revealed the moment a 'large-scale' fight broke out on a sports pitch in Oldham before a 16-year-old boy was left seriously injured.

The violence, involving a large group, many of whom were hooded, erupted on the Tudor football pitch beside Stuart Street on Tuesday night (May 28).

Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were called to the ongoing disturbance at around 6pm. Horrified residents said the fight then moved to a nearby alleyway where a 16-year-old was seriously injured. He was rushed to hospital from the scene.
