Missing Welsh teenager live updates: people told to check gardens as concern grows
Police have urged the public to check their gardens and sheds for a missing person. North Wales Police has "increasing concerns" for "vulnerable person" Athrun, who was last seen at 2pm on Saturday at West Shore Beach in Llandudno, Conwy county.
The force has not provided an age for Athrun but it is understood he is a teenager. Police said: "He is 6ft, brown hair, and has blue eyes. He was wearing blue and white patterned swim shorts only, no footwear. He is not wearing hearing protection as featured in the image."
The coastguard helicopter was carrying out searches on Saturday around the town.
On Sunday Inspector Rachel Hare asked people in the area to check their gardens, sheds and outbuildings. ''I would like to thank the public for the potential sightings so far," she added. "These have been checked out and negated.''
