Missing Jay Slater's Instagram account 'logged in by mystery person', tormented friends claim

Tormented pals have claimed that a 'mystery person has logged into Jay Slater's Instagram account' while he remains missing in Tenerife.

The desperate search for the missing 19-year-old, from Lancashire, is now entering its sixth day today (Saturday) after he vanished on the Spanish island on Monday morning (June 17). A number of his friends and family, including his mum Debbie Duncan, have flown out to Tenerife to assist officers with the search.

They have been posting updates in the 'official' Facebook group - named 'Jay Slater missing - only official group' - since his disappearance. Yesterday (Saturday), Rach Louise Harg, who is an admin for the page and has been sharing updates on behalf of his family, shared a post about the missing teen's Instagram account, the Mirror reports.

She claimed that somebody had logged into his social media page while he remained missing. Jay's mum believed this was 'not him', Rach added.

She asked that the post be shared on her behalf. The post in the group said: "Jays mums asked I post this..

"For everyone asking who has logged into his Instagram account it’s not him or her somebody else has logged into it." Comments were turned off on the post, which has since received more than 400 reactions in the Facebook group.
