Medway Area Sunday League round-up (07/09/25)

Division 3 Rochester Eagles United went goal crazy on the opening day of the new Medway Area Sunday League.

Eagles hit double figures as they ran out 12-2 winners against Kent Marina.

Their goals came from Adrian Florin (5), Moses Alausa (3), Reece Bissenden (2), Daniel Bushell and Bradley Shearing.

Matt Wills, Sam Russell (2), Danny Proctor were on target in Bredhurst Juniors’ 4-0 triumph over Omega 92.

Tom Arnold bagged the Hempstead United goal in their 3-1 loss to Inter Rainham, whose goals came from Liam Dawes, Jon Goodman and Darren Everitt.

Three players scored twice in The Stumble’s 9-1 victory over Palmerston Athletic, Ash Bax, Jordan Reynolds and Glen Martin. Chris Jackson, Layten Grace and Isaac Graham completed their tally while Marshall Rogers claimed the Palmerston consolation.

Aden Woodcock, Andrew McGrath and Jordan Butcher netted in Woodcoombe Sports & Social’s 3-1 victory over River, for whom Leon Mitchell replied.

In Division 4, Medway United West won 4-2 against Snodland United thanks to a Ben Cooper hat-trick and Harry Bradbury. Reece Porter scored both goals for Snodland.

Stanley Holyoake claimed the lone strike in Omega 92 Spartans’ 7-1 loss to Black Eagles Warriors, whose goals came from Jesse Creasey (2), Reece Holmers, Charley Singh, Luke Clarling, Nathan Roberts and Tom Seller.

Pegasus 81 County came out on top 8-4 against Invicta Allstars. Kai Mitchell (3), Robert Wilson, Swayze Whale, Daryl Tripp, Jack Winchester and Scott Whale netted for Pegasus with Justin Lacy, Harry Hawett, Jack Kemp and Lewis Caulfield on target for the visitors.
