Matthijs De Ligt's five word message as Manchester United close in on double transfer
Matthijs de Ligt left Noussair Mazraoui waiting at Munich Airport this morning as the Bayern Munich players flew to England for their Manchester United medicals.
United have had two transfer offers totalling an initial £51.5million accepted by Bayern for the pair. They will pay £38.6m and £4.3m in add-ons while spreading the payments over three years for De Ligt and £12.9m for Mazraoui, with add-ons taking that deal to around £17m.
It comes a month after De Ligt verbally agreed personal terms during the European Championship. The club instead moved to sign Leny Yoro last month amid interest from Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

Since then, they have also identified Mazraoui as a replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is due to sign for West Ham United. Super-agent Rafaela Pimenta represents both players.
They are now closing in on completing moves to United and were spotted arriving at Munich's international airport earlier today. Mazraoui came in first, with De Ligt following and telling Sky Germany reporters awaiting them outside: "Noussair is waiting for me!"
The Dutch defender seemingly was delayed arriving at the airport, which meant their flight to Manchester took off roughly half an hour late. Medicals at United's training complex are scheduled for later today, and the club expects to conclude both deals early this week.
They are preparing to announce the double signing, with club sources saying the separate deals are progressing while acknowledging that visas will be needed for the two players. The deals are set to coincide with Wan-Bissaka
