Martin Keown slams Arsenal comment from Manchester United great Gary Neville

Arsenal legend Martin Keown has reignited his feud with Manchester United, targeting Gary Neville following his commentary after the north London derby defeat to Tottenham.

Rob Holding was shown a red card during the clash on Thursday as Antonio Conte's side moved a step closer to securing Champions League football next season with a 3-0 win. Harry Kane scored twice with Heung-min Son adding a third shortly after the interval to move Spurs to within touching distance of their fierce rivals in the race for the top four.

United favourite Neville was part of the Sky commentary team for the highly-anticipated derby clash between the two London clubs. But the United defender's comments during the tussle irritated Keown while he discussed Holding's sending off.

"If you look at Ben Davies it’s like a pincer tackle and he tries to grab Saka away and then nothing becomes of it," he said speaking talkSPORT. "Sky didn’t really want to make much of that and maybe that was the commentary team going one way rather than the other.

"Nobody really referred to it. Last night I thought there were quite a lot of replays every time an Arsenal player made a foul.

"Suddenly you don’t really see too many replays when there was a Spurs player that brought one down. That was a key incident Saka was away on goal there."

The deadlock was broken from the spot after Cedric Soares was adjudged to have nudged Son illegally, prompting the referee to award Tottenham a penalty. Keown argued: "I think Gary Neville was very quick to say that was a penalty in real-time.
