Mariah Carey to dazzle with Christmas Day performance on Netflix in huge first for the NFL

Mariah Carey is set to make a special appearance in an upcoming sporting event, which will be aired on Netflix this Christmas Day. The All I Want For Christmas Is You superstar will officially perform in the Show Open for NFL Christmas Gameday on December 25th, marking the first-ever NFL Games for the streaming platform.

Two games are lined up to entertain sports enthusiasts this festive season, starting with Super Bowl LVIII winners, the Kansas City Chiefs, taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1PM ET (6PM GMT). This will be followed by the Baltimore Ravens facing off against the Houston Texans at 4:30 PM ET (9:30PM GMT).

The track has been certified an incredible 16x Platinum by the RIAA, making it the highest-certified single ever recorded by a female artist.

As of 9th December this year, it has held the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for an impressive 15 cumulative weeks due to streaming, radio and sales.
