Manchester United vs Man City FA Cup final set for earlier kick-off time at Wembley
Manchester United and Manchester City are set for an earlier kick-off time in June's FA Cup final.
The Football Association and Met Police will reportedly hold talks on the matter this week. United saw off Brighton in Sunday's semi-final while Riyad Mahrez scored a hat-trick as Pep Guardiola's men beat Sheffield United 3-0 on Saturday. Those results set up the first Manchester derby final in the famous competition's history.
The June 3 fixture is deemed 'high-risk' though - with logistical issues also at play. Recent FA Cup finals have kicked off at 5:15pm and 5:30pm, but it is claimed that the FA do not want this year's to start any later than 4:45pm - in order to help travelling supporters post-match.

City's semi-final kicked off at 4:45pm, while United kicked off against the Seagulls at 4:30pm. PA report that the police will not sanction a 5:30pm kick-off.
The decision would 'appease' the Met, who also have the 4:30pm Epsom Derby horse race to tackle. It is unconfirmed, at this stage, whether the final will impact ITV's scheduling - with both events planned to be broadcast live. Relevant bodies will meet shortly to consider and discuss options, with a local authority safety advisory group set to provide its recommendations.
