Manchester United return to Champions League action in need of a victory against Galatasaray.

It's been yet another deflating week for United as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday. The fourth loss in seven games saw them slip down to 10th in the table.

Erik ten Hag's side will need to turn things around quickly when they welcome the Turkish giants to Old Trafford after they lost their opening game of the group stages to Bayern Munich. A second successive defeat would begin to put qualification to the knock-out stages in serious jeopardy.

United remain mired in an injury crisis with eight players, five of them defenders, unavailable but Antony could return to the fold after his leave of absence came to an end. "Antony will be in consideration," Ten Hag said ahead of the game.

"Yesterday was his first time in team training. We have a final training [session] and then we'll make a decision. But he will be in consideration, yeah. I think the team news is probably [just that] Antony dos Santos can return."
