Manchester United vs Copenhagen LIVE team news and Sir Bobby Charlton tribute details

Manchester United return to Champions League action on Tuesday in desperate need of a win.

Erik ten Hag's side have lost their opening two matches and sit rock bottom of Group A with zero points. They need to get points on the board when they take on FC Copenhagen at Old Trafford.

United have started to string a run of form together with the 2-1 win over Sheffield United on Saturday seeing them win back-to-back Premier League matches for the first time this season. United still have several players sidelined but Sergio Reguilon is in contention to make his return to action.

Meanwhile, United will host a special pre-match tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton ahead of kick-off in Tuesday’s Champions League match. Old Trafford turnstiles will be open from 6pm, with the club encouraging fans to take their seats early to pay their respects to the football great, who died aged 86 on Saturday. A wreath will be placed on Sir Bobby’s seat in the director’s box with players and staff to wear black armbands for the game.

Manchester United Under-19s have slipped to a narrow 1-0 defeat to FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Youth League.

It leaves United level with Bayern Munich and Galatasaray who all sit on three points.

Manchester United have tweeted: "Regrettably, we have had to close entry to the book of condolence ahead of 16:00 BST due to the size of the queue. We apologise to those fans who have been unable to sign today, however, it will be available to sign for the rest of the week."

The UEFA Youth League match between United and FC Copenhagen is currently in the closing stages and the Danes have found a late goal, potentially a winner.
