Manchester United vs Arsenal live score and goal updates as Leandro Trossard scores

Manchester United will be targeting a much-needed victory when they welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford in the Premier League this afternoon.

United crashed to a record-breaking 13th Premier League defeat of the season last time out, losing 4-0 to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. As a result, they have now won just two of their last 10 league matches.

The Reds are now eighth in the table and their hopes of qualifying for any European competition for next season via their league position are in doubt. They are currently three points behind both sixth-placed Newcastle United and seventh-placed Chelsea, who both played yesterday.

It means Erik ten Hag's men desperately need to get three points on the board this afternoon. Arsenal, however, are still in contention for the title and know a victory for them will take them back to the top and above Manchester City.

I said about Wan-Bissaka looking iffy against Trossard. He gets blindsided so easily there.

It's an unnecessary risk from Onana on his weaker foot but the ball has to move a hell of a long way up the pitch and United are not remotely set for an Arsenal attack. Casemiro coming short for a possible pass is fair enough but then he trundles up the pitch and plays everyone onside

Arsenal lead. Trossard turns the ball home from inside the six-yard box, tapping home Havertz's centre. That was too easy.

United are getting some joy from Dalot moving into midfield. He's a better ball-striker than that shot suggested and he could have taken it on with his earlier run.

Arsenal seem to be consciously feeling their way into the game rather than just trying to kill United quickly.
