Manchester United need just one more Premier League point to return to European football's top table.

A draw against Chelsea at Old Trafford in their next fixture will put United back in the Champions League - and hand manager Erik ten Hag a welcome advantage in the summer transfer market. Meanwhile, the Glazers' attempts to sell the club continue to rumble on with Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe still the frontrunners to secure a purchase.

Reports have claimed a preferred bidder could be announced by the end of the week, with Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim said to be hoping for clarity by Friday.

In addition to the Mason Mount speculation, 90min reports that United are mulling over the possibility of signing two strikers this summer as Erik ten Hag looks to add more goals to his squad. Harry Kane is earmarked as the prime target, however interest in other strikers could develop.
