Manchester United transfer news RECAP United get triple injury boost as Marcus Rashford returns
Manchester United are just one day away from their Europa League quarter-final second leg clash with Sevilla.
Erik ten Hag's side were leading 2-0 at Old Trafford in the first leg before Tyrell Malacia and Harry Maguire both scored own goals to make it 2-2. The Reds will also be without centre-backs Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane for the second leg clash at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, with the pair both sidelined through injury.
Despite this, United will still be confident about progressing to the next round, and with an FA Cup semi-final clash with Brighton to come at the weekend, it could be one of the most important weeks in the club's season so far.
Away from the pitch, the Reds continue to be linked with a host of players ahead of the summer transfer window. Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane remains a key target for Ten Hag, while the futures of some current first-team players - such as David de Gea and Scott McTominay - are still unclear.
Elsewhere, reports have suggested a full sale of United remains the likeliest outcome after a third – and final – deal for offers from interested parties was set for later this month.
