Manchester United transfer news RECAP Man Utd sign Antony plus Martin Dubravka medical
Manchester United are on the brink of completing the €100million signing of Brazilian international Antony from Ajax.
The winger, who has been a leading target for United throughout the summer, visited United's Carrington training base after arriving in England from the Netherlands during Monday afternoon.
His arrival at Old Trafford will take United's tally of new additions this summer to five, following the earlier captures of Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Casemiro. United, though, are not expected to stop at Antony ahead of the transfer window closing at 11pm on Thursday evening.
United also want Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka and he is set to be drafted in to provide some healthy competition for David de Gea between the sticks. Uncertainty also continues to surround the future of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Napoli are interested in signing him ahead of the window closing and are pushing to get a deal done. Meanwhile, Birmingham City are interested in re-signing former loanee Tahith Chong, meaning a busy end to the window could be on the cards at Old Trafford.
