Manchester United head into Friday with uncertainty surrounding another of their players.

Donny van de Beek is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford having struggled since his 2020 switch from Ajax. The midfielder has been unable to hold down a starting role with the Reds and his future looks to be elsewhere.

Previously, Galatasaray have shown interest and Fenerbahce could also be a destination for him. Elsewhere, it seems to be guaranteed Jadon Sancho will remain with the Reds.

Reports suggested Steven Gerrard's Al Ettifaq made a last-ditch move for the winger but were priced out of negotiations on the Saudi Pro League's deadline day.
