Manchester United transfer news LIVE Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe latest plus Mason Mount 'formal offer'

The summer transfer window officially opens today and Manchester United have a huge few months ahead of them.

Reports in France have suggested PSG's Qatari owners are planning a deal with United, so long as Sheikh Jassim completes a takeover of the club.

Elsewhere, Ten Hag is reportedly looking to fill the midfield gap with Mason Mount, whose future at Chelsea is looking increasingly uncertain. United are expected to table a formal offer for the 24-year-old shortly, although it is still some way short of Chelsea's valuation.
