Manchester United transfer news LIVE Sevilla reaction as Napoli 'set' Victor Osimhen demand

Manchester United bowed out of the Europa League with a whimper last night, losing the second-leg of their quarter-final showdown with Sevilla 3-0 in Spain.

A hat-trick of errors from goalkeeper David de Gea compounded what was a dreadful performance from the Reds, meaning they lost their last-eight tie with the Europa League specialists 5-2 on aggregate. The Reds, generally, have responded well to setbacks this season, meaning that could give boss Ten Hag some optimism that he will get a reaction from his players in the capital. They will, of course, be without centre-back Harry Maguire against the Seagulls, meaning Ten Hag will be down to the bare bones as far as central defensive options will be concerned.
