The Reds, generally, have responded well to setbacks this season, meaning that could give boss Ten Hag some optimism that he will get a reaction from his players in the capital. They will, of course, be without centre-back Harry Maguire against the Seagulls, meaning Ten Hag will be down to the bare bones as far as central defensive options will be concerned.
