Manchester United transfer news LIVE Man United vs Leicester reaction plus Cristiano Ronaldo updates

Manchester United drew 1-1 with Leicester on Saturday evening.

United were knocked out of the Champions League just before the international break and Saturday's draw against Leicester at Old Trafford upon their return to action could mean their hopes of finishing in the top four this season are all but gone.

Leicester took the lead in the match through Kelechi Iheanacho but they couldn't hold on to that advantage for long.

Fred was one of United's best players and he brought his side level with a simple finish from the six-yard box.

United have just eight Premier League games remaining.

Cristiano Ronaldo was ruled out of the match ahead of kick-off and that left Rangnick with a selection dilemma. The German had the option of starting Marcus Rashford at centre-forward, but he opted to play without a recognised striker instead, starting Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Elanga and Jadon Sancho, in a similar system to one which he used against Manchester City.

Former club captain Gary Neville believes Marcus Rashford is currently experiencing a "massive low" in his Manchester United career.

Neville made the admission after the England international was left out of the starting line-up for Saturday's teatime clash with Leicester City at Old Trafford.
