Manchester United transfer news LIVE first summer exit confirmed plus latest on Mount and Caicedo

Manchester United are closing in on a second June in succession without any new signings.

The Mason Mount saga continues to rumble on after Chelsea rejected yet another bid, though the offer for Erik ten Hag's top target remains on the table.

However, the manager is understanding of the predicament United are in as they don't want to overpay for a player in the final year of his contract and the club are considering alternatives.

Brighton's Moises Caicedo is on the list though he would cost £80million while Adrien Rabiot is an option with his contract at Juventus set to expire.

Meanwhile, Zidane Iqbal's move to Utrecht has been confirmed with United inserting buy-back and sell-on clauses in the contract.

Manchester United have included a buyback clause in the deal that will see Zidane Iqbal move to FC Utrecht for €1million, as well as a sell-on clause that entitles them to 40% of his next transfer fee.

The 20-year-old has completed his move to the Eredivisie, but United have the option to buy the midfielder back should his development accelerate in the Netherland.
