Manchester United transfer news LIVE Chelsea build-up, Erik ten Hag latest and injury updates

Manchester United will be looking to halt their run of two successive Premier League defeats when they welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford this evening, kick-off 7:45pm.

United's hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League were all but ended following Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Arsenal, meaning anything less than a victory this evening would bring an end to them once and for all. United are currently sixth in the table, six points shy of the top four.

Interim manager Ralf Rangnick faces something of an injury crisis ahead of tonight's game with six first-team players sidelined through injury, although it could become seven if Aaron Wan-Bissaka fails his late fitness test. It means that United could be forced to blood a handful of youngsters this evening.
