Manchester United transfer news LIVE Andre Onana confirmed and Rasmus Hojlund latest

Manchester United have two summer signings through the door, with Andre Onana's arrival confirmed on Thursday night.

The Cameroon international has signed a five-year deal with the option for a further year at Old Trafford. United agreed a deal worth an initial €51million, plus a further €4million in add-ons. Onana underwent a medical at Carrington on Wednesday and flew out to New York on Thursday to join the club's pre-season tour of the United States.

He became the club's second summer signing following the arrival of Mason Mount for an initial £55m earlier in the month. The priority will now be to bring in a new centre-forward before the start of the season, while the club continue to keep their options open over further arrivals in midfield.

Ten Hag named his 31-man squad for the tour earlier this week and United will now have five goalkeepers at their disposal - after Dean Henderson was included despite uncertainty surrounding his future. The Reds are gearing up to face Arsenal at the MetLife Stadium on Saturday.
