Manchester United have just one more day to prepare before their massive Europa League clash with Barcelona.

The European heavyweights are competing in a playoff to advance to the last 16 of the tournament and the tie is finely poised after a thrilling first leg in Catalonia.

Barcelona went ahead at the Camp Nou but United responded strongly through a Marcus Rashford equaliser before taking the lead with an own goal. Barca then fought back to level the scores at 2-2.

It's bound to be another dramatic match at a raucous Old Trafford and manager Erik ten Hag will offer his thoughts ahead of the game today.

Barcelona forward Ferran Torres has admitted that he and his teammates will have to be prepared to "suffer" when they face Manchester United in the second-leg of their Europa League tie at Old Trafford on Thursday evening.

After contesting a pulsating 2-2 draw in the first-leg at the Camp Nou last week, both sides will fancy their chances of getting the job done and progressing to the last-16. They have both been in excellent form in recent months and each recorded domestic victories at the weekend.

In the eyes of many, however, United will head into the second half of the tie as favourites to come out on top, pointing towards their excellent record at Old Trafford this season. Erik ten Hag's side have turned M16 back into a fortress this season and have won 14 of their last 15 matches on their own patch in all competitions.
