Manchester United take unwanted Premier League record after controversial Old Trafford price rise

Manchester United charge more for disabled parking than any other club in the Premier League.

The Manchester Evening News confirmed earlier this month that United would not U-turn on their price increase for disabled season ticket holders to park at Old Trafford.

United have increased the price of a blue badge for disabled season ticket holders by 20 per cent for this season, which means it is now around £330 for a season instead of £276.

Aston Villa charge the second most (£190 per season) for disabled parking but attempted to double that sum before backtracking after intense backlash, while Nottingham Forest, Wolves and Everton charge the joint third most as it costs £10 per game for disabled fans to use their parking.

On the back of the MEN revealing United would not U-turn on their disabled price increase, despite Villa and Manchester City doing so, Sports Casting have ranked each club on cost.

There are 10 clubs in the Premier League whose disabled car parking spaces have no cost attached, including members of the traditional 'big six', Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

City have brought in tweaked rules that will charge fans a £6 booking fee per match that will be refunded if the space is used and Brentford's spaces are only free for season ticket holders.

Southampton, Liverpool, Brighton, Everton, Wolves, Nottingham Forest, Villa and United are the clubs who charge, although it's United who charge the most by a significant margin.
