Manchester United suffer major Amad injury scare as Ruben Amorim faces nightmare
Amad reportedly faces a battle to save his season after suffering an injury in the build-up to Manchester United's Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm).
The 21-year-old Ivory Coast international has been one of few bright sparks from a difficult season at Old Trafford, initially under Erik ten Hag and more recently Ruben Amorim.
However, The Daily Mail claims that the forward could be sidelined for the rest of the season after being "hurt" in training and faces a spell on the sidelines for the "foreseeable future".
United are 13th in the table heading into Sunday's game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where they will be without Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Altay Bayindir, Jonny Evans and, potentially, midfield duo Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte, as well.
