Manchester United stars drop early team news hint ahead of Porto clash in Europa League

Some Manchester United players have dropped potential early team news hints ahead of their clash against Porto.

United travel to Portugal to face Porto in their second Europa League fixture of the season. The Reds were held to a 1-1 draw with FC Twente in their previous match of the competition and will be determined to secure all three points.

Erik ten Hag's side go into the fixture at the Estadio do Dragao on the back of a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Tottenham Hotspur. Thursday night's clash against Porto is the penultimate match that United will play before the October international break, with Aston Villa away in the Premier League to come at the weekend.

Ahead of the game, Antony and Diogo Dalot have posted updates on social media which may suggest they both are set to feature against Porto. Historically, players who post pre-match graphics on Instagram, for example, are likely to be part of the matchday squad for a fixture, if not in the starting line-up.

Antony posted a video which previewed United's clash against Porto in the Europa League, as well as a replay of one of his famous goals for the club. The Brazilian included a video of his goal against Barcelona in the 2-1 victory at Old Trafford in the 2022/23 season.

Ten Hag has only handed Antony two appearances for United this season in all competitions, with his only start coming in the Carabao Cup win over Barnsley last month. Antony has played just one minute in the Premier League this term as a late substitute against Brighton and was an unused
