Debenhams slash £2,500 diamond watch similar to £38,000 women's Rolex by 90%

Now that we're officially in October, it is fair to say that the countdown to Christmas is officially on. If you're a person that likes to pick up presents for your friends and families sooner rather than later to avoid forking out heaps in December, you'll definitely want to turn your attention to Debenhams.

The online retailer has some serious good offers on at the moment, but nothing tops the savings found across its line of watches. Debenhams has educed the price of hundreds of watches - with discounts of 90% and over, in some cases - and it's too good to miss.

While you can shop the whole watch sale here, shoppers have been eyeing up one watch in particular - and it's a scorcher. The Astor III MOP Dial Swiss Quartz Stainless Steel Diamond Watch normally costs £2,495 but shoppers can snag it with a massive 90% off.

That brings the total down to the much friendlier price of £242.25. To put it in perspective, that's a whopping saving of £2,252.75.

What's more, while not 100% identical, we think it looks a lot like the Rolex Datejust Lady 31. If you were to opt for the ultra high-end version, it would set you back a cool £37,950 - which is a little bit hard to scrounge from the back of the couch.

The £242 watch features a 38mm diamond-encrusted bezel and the brand's distinctive blue cabochon gemstone crown. It features a show-stopping art deco-inspired jewel-toned green watch face with four single cut diamonds encircling a 12-diamond studded inner circle.
