Manchester United 'set to revive' Benjamin Sesko pursuit and more transfer rumours

Manchester United could revive their interest in Benjamin Sesko next summer despite the promising RB Salzburg striker already completing his next move. United weighed-up a push for Sesko, 19, during the most-recent window amid mounting speculation over Cristiano Ronaldo and his Old Trafford future.

As it turned out, Ronaldo stayed put and Sesko was signed by RB Leipzig on a pre-agreed contract. He is expected to touch down in the Bundesliga next season.

However, according to reports from 90min, the Slovenia international might not even kick a ball for Leipzig due to ongoing interest from several European clubs. 90min say United remain in the queue for his signature with Chelsea and Bayern Munich also thought to be considering a bid.

Sesko will cost Leipzig around £21.6million when he moves to Germany from their sister club. He has scored 4 goals in 17 senior appearances for Slovenia and his next side are already braced for concrete offers.

Elsewhere, reports from Italy claim United are tracking Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae with a view to swooping for his signature next summer. Min-jae has a £43.4million release clause which becomes active in July 2023.

Tottenham wanted the South Korean this summer as he, ultimately, settled on Napoli after departing Turkish giants Fenerbahce. The 25-year-old won Serie A Player of the Month in September.

As part of their ongoing rebuild under Erik ten Hag, United signed Lisandro Martinez this summer and they brought in Raphael Varane last summer. However, despite those moves, the club are keeping tabs on the impressive Min-jae as Italian publication Il Mattino credit United with an interest in securing his services.
