United are planning more significant changes at the club in response to their disastrous season.

United are expected to hire another football director - with several staff changes also planned at their Carrington training complex. Sources say United are planning a 'big restructure' - having seemingly finalised their restructuring last year with the appointments of John Murtough as football director and Darren Fletcher as technical director.

Murtough has taken overall leadership when it comes to recruitment, with support from Fletcher, the recruitment department and legal department for finer contract details as Matt Judge gears up to leave his position as director of football negotiations.

Neville sends ruthless Lingard message

Gary Neville thinks Jesse Lingard did not deserve an Old Trafford farewell after he watched two United favourites, Bryan Robson and Steve Bruce, sent on their way without such treatment. Lingard is about to run down his United contract after 20 years with the club.

Despite that service, the England international was denied an opportunity to wave goodbye to home supporters during the 3-0 win over Brentford last Monday night. It was a decision which prompted his brother, Louie Scott, to hit out at United and Ralf Rangnick - but Neville does not agree with those scathing comments Scott made.
