Manchester United 'ready to join' Jude Bellingham race as price-tag set and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are 'ready to join' the bidding war for Jude Bellingham this summer, according to reports, with Borussia Dortmund likely to demand a minimum of £110million.

Bellingham has long been set to become the most in-demand player of the summer window, following a string of outstanding displays for both Borussia Dortmund and at the World Cup with England. Liverpool and Real Madrid have are frontrunners for a deal, although the 19-year-old is yet to make a decision on his future.

Dortmund remain desperate on keeping their star and will hold talks in a bid to keep him at the Westfalenstadion beyond this season. But the Telegraph now reports that among several previously named parties, United may officially enter the running.

The report adds that for the first time, a minimum demand has been mooted at €125million (around £110million), which may limit United's chances with Erik ten Hag prioritising a world-class striker which will also likely cost more than £100million.

Elsewhere, Kicker report that Christoph Baumgartner is ready to leave Hoffenheim this summer after a torrid season which has left them bottom of the Bundesliga table as it stands.

The 23-year-old has long been expected to be Hoffenheim's next big-money export, having left Austria to join their youth ranks in 2017, and is expected to move on to pastures new whether his current side are relegated or not. United and Liverpool have been linked with the midfielder.

A dynamic and energetic central midfielder, Baumgartner has five goals and four assists in 23 Bundesliga appearances this season and has an impressive seven goals in 25 Austria caps.
