How Manchester United could line up if Erik ten Hag seals transfers for his two dream signings

Manchester United will move to the next phase of their rebuilding project under manager Erik ten Hag this forthcoming summer.

The Reds, who will resume their Premier League campaign with a trip to St. James' Park to face Newcastle United on Sunday, spent a huge amount of money on new additions last summer, kick-starting the beginning of the Ten Hag era. The club also added three more faces to its squad in January, drafting in Jack Butland, Marcel Sabitzer and Wout Weghorst on loan deals until the end of the season.

Although United are still in with a chance of winning two more trophies this season, as well as being in a strong position to secure Champions League qualification, the campaign has already been a roaring success, with the club ending its six-year wait for a trophy. Ten Hag has restored standards and given United an identity again.

The Dutchman has overseen a brilliant job so far and has proven that he deserves further financial backing to try and take the Reds to the next level. United plan to recruit a new central-midfielder and a new striker at the very least this forthcoming summer, with the addition of a new goal-getter set to be their leading priority.

The Reds have been without a reliable, goalscoring centre-forward this season, meaning it is no surprise that a new striker is at the top of Ten Hag's wish list. Although Napoli ace Victor Osimhen is attracting plenty of attention and is on United's radar, it is Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane that is tickling Ten Hag's fancy.
