Manchester United presented with golden opportunity as 'Paulo Dybala's wife intervenes'

Manchester United could do far worse than signing Paulo Dybala this summer, and his wife may play a key role in the transfer.

Roma appear to be open to the prospect of selling their World Cup-winner, who has just one year left on his contract. This could pique the interest of Erik ten Hag, who will start the Premier League season without injured Rasmus Hojlund and summer signing Joshua Zirkzee still chasing full fitness.

Saudi team Al-Qadsiah reportedly made an offer for Dybala when his £10million release clause was still valid in July but were turned down by him despite offering £17m in wages over two years. The deadline to activate the clause has since passed but United could yet get value out of a player they've been tracking for years with Roma reportedly ready to sell him to rival Italian clubs for just £17m.

Dybala, 30, has had a decent run at Roma and netted 34
