Manchester United are expected to announce the signing of Manuel Ugarte today.

The Reds finally reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the midfielder after accepting Napoli's proposal to sign Scott McTominay. Ugarte will join Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui as new arrivals at Old Trafford this summer.

In terms of deadline day gossip, Ivan Toney continues to be linked with a move to Manchester. However, according to the Mirror on Thursday night, the England international is keen to make a move from Brentford before the transfer window closes, but he has not had the Premier League offers he wanted, while Saudi club Al-Ahli are also making him sweat on their £300k-a-week move.

In other news, United and Chelsea are currently still in talks over a move for Jadon Sancho, according to Fabrizio Romano. It's said that a deal for Sancho is separate from the Osimhen deal that Chelsea are trying to work on. The winger is also wanted by Juventus.
