Manchester United predicted line-up vs Real Madrid as Andre Onana and Marcus Rashford start
Manchester United will be looking to build on Saturday's 2-0 win over Arsenal when they face Real Madrid in their fifth pre-season friendly of the summer in Houston on Wednesday evening (Thursday morning in the UK).
United, who last faced the Spanish side back in July 2018, made relatively light work of the Gunners, inspired by first half goals from Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho. United dominated the contest for long spells and could have added to their tally after the break.
Boss Erik ten Hag, for the third game running, made a raft of changes at half-time, making ten in total, with goalkeeper Tom Heaton the only man to survive the chop. It means the Dutchman could repeat the same tactic once again at the NRG Stadium.
United, technically speaking, did suffer their first defeat of pre-season on Tuesday evening, losing 3-1 to Wrexham in San Diego. However, that contest was dealt with by the club's academy and younger members of the first-team squad.

Nevertheless, the senior stars will take care of the clash with Madrid and they will be looking to keep their own winning run going against a side that will offer another stern test. With that in mind, Ten Hag could deploy his strongest line-up of the summer so far.
Therefore, Andre Onana could be awarded his United debut in goal. The Cameroonian joined the club from Inter Milan just under a week ago and was left out of the matchday squad that defeated Arsenal.
Ten Hag, ideally, needs to give him as many minutes as possible between now and the start of the season on August 14, so that he and United's outfield players can adapt to one another. Heaton, however, could feature in the second half.
