Manchester United predicted line-up vs Wolves as Diogo Dalot and Alejandro Garnacho start
Manchester United will be determined to make a winning start to the 2023/24 Premier League campaign when they face Wolves at Old Trafford on Monday evening.
United, who did the double over the Black Country outfit last term, will be keen to hit the ground running and build on last season's respectable third-placed finish from the off. It was a progressive first season under Erik ten Hag and the club has ambitions of making further strides this term.
The Reds brought their pre-season schedule to a close against Athletic Bilbao in Dublin last Sunday afternoon, drawing 1-1. Winger Facundo Pellistri netted a last-gasp equaliser to help United avoid a fourth defeat of their pre-season campaign.
Ten Hag deployed a weakened starting XI against Bilbao, making 11 changes to the side that defeated RC Lens 3-1 at Old Trafford just over 24 hours earlier. It is expected that the Dutchman will revert to a similar line-up, or possibly the same one, for the season curtain-raiser.

With that said, Andre Onana is expected to start in goal and earn his competitive debut for the club. He made three appearances during pre-season following his move from Inter Milan and he will be determined to mark his debut with a clean sheet.
Ahead of Onana, Ten Hag has a big call to make on who starts at right-back, as both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot are chomping at the bit to get the nod. Dalot started the win over Lens, meaning he may have edged ahead of the former Crystal Palace ace in the quest to occupy the position.
