Manchester United 'offered' Real Madrid star Toni Kroos and more transfer rumours
Manchester United are one of several Premier League sides to have been 'offered' the chance to sign Toni Kroos in January, according to reports.
Kroos is into the final eight months of his contract with Real Madrid and looks set to leave after losing his starting place. The German midfielder has been a regular feature in the Spanish capital for nine years but has since been replaced by the likes of Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga.
As such, the 34-year-old is looking for a way out and the Daily Star reports that he has been offered to a number of English sides. United are among those to have been made aware, alongside Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle.

Prospective suitors could land the World Cup and Champions League winner for a cut price, given his contract situation in Madrid, but if no teams come forward then Kroos would be open to leaving on a free some summer. Central midfield is one of four key areas identified by Erik ten Hag to strengthen over the next two windows, with concerns as to how long Casemiro can keep performing at the top level.
Elsewhere, Football Insider reports that Newcastle are expecting to make a January loan signing in order to replace Sandro Tonali.
Tonali has been handed a 10-month ban after admitting a breach of the Italian Football Federation's betting rules. The midfielder admitted to placing bets on football matches, including ones in which he played for AC Milan.
Scott McTominay is one of three Premier League names on Eddie Howe's radar, alongside Amadou Onana and Joao Palhinha of Everton and Fulham respectively. However any move for the United man would need to be on loan,
